NFC bases FAQ
Is my phone compatible?+
Most smartphones manufactured after 2018 have NFC. iPhones from model 7 and virtually all modern Android phones are compatible.
Does it need electricity or wifi?+
No. The NFC base is passive — it doesn't need electricity or internet. Communication happens through the worker's phone.
Can I have multiple bases?+
Yes. You can install as many bases as you need in different locations. Each one is configured from the manager app.
What if the worker doesn't have the app installed?+
The worker needs the Ficha.Work app installed and logged in. When they tap their phone on the base, the app records the clock-in automatically.
How many bases do I need?+
It depends on your company. Typically you install one base per main access point. A small office usually needs just one base at the entrance. Premises with multiple access points may need one per door.
