What is mandatory time tracking in Spain?
Since May 2019 (RDL 8/2019), all companies in Spain are required to record their employees' working hours. The 2026 regulation further requires this record to be digital, accessible to employees, and tamper-proof. Fines for non-compliance range from €751 to €7,500 per employee.
How much does Ficha.Work cost?
Ficha.Work costs €1 per user per month for companies, and €0.80 per user per month for consultancies (minimum 50 users). No lock-in contracts, no setup fees. NFC bases are a one-time cost of €35 per unit.
How do employees clock in?
Employees can clock in three ways: tapping a button in the mobile app, tapping their phone on an NFC base installed at the workplace, or through automatic clock-by-schedule. In all three cases, hours are recorded instantly in the cloud.
What happens if an employee forgets to clock in?
If clock-by-schedule is enabled, the employee will receive a push notification reminding them to clock in. If they still forget, both the worker and the manager can create a correction request to fix the record. The entire process is documented.
